During my 12-week internship at Tree Company, I worked at the intersection of UX/UI design and front-end development. I contributed to projects such as EDUbox, VoteMatch International and Debatklas, where I worked with tools like Figma and React.

Throughout my internship, I learned more about professional workflows, accessibility, teamwork and turning designs into functional digital experiences. It was a valuable opportunity to grow both creatively and technically while working on meaningful digital projects.

De groep van de VRT Squad bootcamp De watertoren op de VRT-site Brainstormsessie met het team

During the VRT Squad bootcamp, I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of students on a creative assignment: how can VRT better engage young audiences through humor and entertainment? Over the course of four days, we participated in brainstorming sessions, creative workshops, and inspiration sessions, guided by professionals from the media industry.

We gained valuable insights into audience targeting and online strategies and learned how to present our ideas effectively. On the final day, we pitched our concept to a VRT jury. This experience provided me with a deeper understanding of the challenges within the media industry and how to engage young people in a creative way. It was a week where I acquired new skills and worked together to develop a concrete idea as a team.

During the Digital Nomad Bootcamp organized for Telenet, I had the opportunity to work in a team while enjoying a nice mix of work and relaxation. Throughout the week, I learned to develop innovative ideas and think creatively about AI applications, supported by interactive workshops and coaching sessions.

The bootcamp helped me discover how to work independently of location and find a good balance between work and leisure. We even had surfing lessons, which provided a fun change of pace. At the end, we pitched our ideas, which was a valuable experience for both collaboration and creative thinking. This bootcamp made me realize how appealing the life of a digital nomad can be and the flexibility it offers.
